THE SUN is my interpretation of one of the most joyful and optimistic cards in the tarot deck. Traditionally, The Sun represents vitality, clarity, warmth and a return to light after darker times - a reminder that joy, growth and confidence are always within reach.
At the heart of the scene is the white horse, a symbol of strength, purity and forward momentum. As we enter the Year of the Horse, this felt like the perfect moment to honour that energy - movement, resilience and the courage to keep going, even when the path feels uncertain.
This print is alive with colour: glowing pinks and sunset oranges melt into cool pool blues and lush greens, creating a dreamlike, surreal landscape.
I’ve hand-finished each print with coloured silver leaf and real gold leaf - using more gold than I ever have on a print edition before. The sun’s rays stretch across the sky in shimmering detail, catching the light differently throughout the day and bringing the whole scene to life. Every piece has its own subtle variations, making each print truly unique.
This is a very small edition of just 10, with 2 APs, created slowly and intentionally. A celebration of light, optimism and small moments of joy - something to live with, return to, and draw energy from.
