“In Kiss of the Year, I wanted to create a moment that feels suspended - a kiss held inside its own little universe.
The setting grew from my fascination with Miami’s Art Deco architecture: the pastel curves, the rhythm of the buildings, the sense of glamour and possibility. I reimagined those forms through a dreamlike lens, combining real architectural references with AI distortions to build a world that feels familiar, but not quite real.
The animals, the bubbles and the pool reflections taken from imagery of the Rothchild’s ball, all play into that heightened atmosphere - a place where everyday logic gives way to visual poetry. I love how the bubbles drift through the scene like fleeting thoughts, adding a playful sense of movement and lightness.
For me, Kiss of the Year is about joy, fantasy and the theatre of the unexpected. A celebration of colour and wonder in a world where anything might happen.”
