Enlightened is both a painting and a visual diary - a celebration of strength, transformation, and diving head-first into the unknown.

Loosely inspired by Florida’s vintage Cypress Gardens, the scene is alive with symbolic details: a golden Buddha watching serenely from the banks, a tiger embodying inner power, flamingos wading in calm waters, and a lone diver - perhaps even a self-portrait, is captured mid-plunge into new experiences.

An iguana, taken from my Miami photo archives, adds another surreal twist to the lush dreamscape. Bathed in radiant pinks, greens, and blues, Enlightened is a vibrant meditation on self-discovery and the courage to embrace change.
