Our wanderlust is often sparked by longer days and balmy summer nights. As we dream of holidays and vacations, we are setting our sights on the freedom of the open road in this exhibition.

The artists in this show range from 96togo, who is inspired by Americana, diners and motel signs and has a attention to detail with his dioramas which is second to none.

David Bray, has produced a series of evocative new paintings from his plein air sessions, having embarked on a road trip to produce his atmospheric paintings.

Pam Glew, artist and co-curator returns to her flag series, and has created 2 new paintings on vintage American flags of Roys Motel and Fortune Club in Vegas using her process of dye and bleach.

Richard Heeps, whose documentary photography we have been showcasing since the gallery opened, has a series of iconic photographs from his road trip travels.

Ruth Mulvie, has painted 2 new canvases for the show, which evoke the mood of the theme perfectly in her distinctive palette and brush work.

Emily Paxton, photographer and co-curator shows a series of photographs which were shot during various trips to Venice Beach, Portland and Utah.

Rugman has a very collectable one off painting of ‘Easy Rider’ which oozes with 70’s American pop culture.

Design duo Tiny Scenic have produced 3 new relief wall works, which reflect their love of American 50s architecture and signage.
